Marseille Cedex 9 France One-dimensional quantum scattering for potentials de ned as measures Charles-Antoine GUERIN1 Abstract We generalize the basic one-dimensional scattering formalism to potentials de ned as measures and retrieve the classical results that hold for smooth potentials. We introduce a set of generalized eigenfunctions for the corresponding Schr odinger operator and study their analytical properties. This allows a characterization of the spectrum and an eigenfunction expansion. We also prove the existence and completeness of the wave operators and give explicit formulae for these latter. Inverse Scattering Theory for One-dimensional Schrödinger Operators with Steplike Periodic Potentials
We develop direct and inverse scattering theory for one-dimensional Schrödinger operators with steplike potentials which are asymptotically close to different finite-gap periodic potentials on different half-axes. We give a complete characterization of the scattering data, which allow unique solvability of the inverse scattering problem in the class of perturbations with finite second moment.
متن کاملOne-dimensional Scattering Theory for Quantum Systems with Nontrivial Spatial Asymptotics
We provide a general framework of stationary scattering theory for one-dimensional quantum systems with nontrivial spatial asymptotics. As a byproduct we characterize reeectionless potentials in terms of spectral multiplicities and properties of the diagonal Green's function of the underlying Schrr odinger operator. Moreover, we prove that single (Crum-Darboux) and double commutation methods to...
متن کاملAnalytical properties of scattering amplitudes in one-dimensional quantum theory
One-dimensional quantum scattering from a local potential barrier is considered. Analytical properties of the scattering amplitudes have been investigated by means of the integral equations equivalent to the Schrodinger equations. The transition and re ection amplitudes are expressed in terms of two complex functions of the incident energy, which are similar to the Jost function in the partial...

متن کاملEstimates for a the Scattering Map Associated to a Two-dimensional Rst Order System
We consider the scattering transform for the rst order system in the plane, @ x 0 0 @ x ! ? QQ = 0: We show that this map is continuous on L 2 for small potentials. This paper gives an estimate for the scattering map associated to a rst-order system D ? QQ = 0 (1) in the plane. Here, D and Q are deened by D = @ x 0 0 @ x ! and Q = 0 q 1 q 2 0 ! : and @ x and @ x are the standard derivatives wit...
